The medical use of cannabinoids have increased substantially in Switzerland, with the programme including patients with a wide range of conditions such as multiple sclerosis, soft tissue disorders, dorsalgia, spinal muscular atrophy and paraplegia/tetraplegia. Most common symptoms treated were chronic pain and spasticity.
