THC may serve as a potential target for therapeutic intervention in hepatic ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury during liver transplantation, liver resection and trauma. A single ultralow dose THC can reduce the apoptotic, oxidative and inflammatory injury induced by hepatic I/R injury.
